Taken POW 9/9/63 at Cumberland Gap.
Sent to Camp Douglas 9/24/63 where held until 10/21/63 when he died of an inflamation of the lungs.

B. 1/23/34 in Lee Co.
(Family tradition is that his name was Aaron Floyd Hobbs.)

He was appointed 2nd Lieutenant in Co. B, 29th VA Infantry. Battn. on 8/22/62, which became Co. G, 64th Mounted Infantry upon consolidation with the 21st Infantry Battn. He also served in Co. A, 94th VA Militia.
