Funeral services for Aaron Nordin, 72 years old, 1712 Kishwaukee Street, charter member of the First Lutheran Church and resident of Rockford 48 years, who died Tuesday night at 10:30 o'clock at St. Anthony Hospital after an illness of five weeks, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late residence, the Rev. J. F. Seedoff officiating. Burial will be in the Scandinavian Cemetery.

He was born in Smoland, Sweden, Oct. 19, 1854, and came to Rockford in the spring of 1879. He married Miss Louise Holmberg December 17, 1884. They lived on farms in Winnebago County until 13 years ago when they retired and moved to this city. Mr. Nordin had been blind for eight years.

Besides the widow, he is survived by two children, Mrs. Peter Beers, Rockford, and Roy Nordin, Kirkland; eight grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gustav Johnson, Rockford, and two brothers, Albert and John Nordin, Rockford.
