Aaron Rawlings was born in Wiltshire, England.

Aaron Rawlings was born on the 5th of January 1667/8 in Bromham, Wiltshire.[1] He was baptised on the 5th of November 1668 in Bromham.[2] His parents were Daniel Rawlins alias Butler and Dorothy (née Gee) Rawlins alias Butler.[3]

Aaron married Susanna Jones, heir of Dr. William Jones, in 1667 in Maryland.[4] They resided in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, Colonial America.

Aaron died in 1741 in Anne Arundel, County, Maryland, Colonial America.[5] His will was probated on the 14th of April that year.[6]

In the Name of God Amen I, Aron Rawlings of the County of Ann Arundel, in the Province of Maryland aged about seventy four years thanks be given to great Creator being sick and weak but sound of memory do make this my Last Will and Testament as follows first I recommend my soul into the Hands of Almighty God who gave it xxx through the xxx of my Dear Redeemer Jesus Christ to rises to Eternal Life Immortal forever to enjoy those Blessed Mantions (sic) which he hath purchased for me with his most precious Blood and my body to the Earth from where it came to be Douthy. Entered at the discretion of the person hereafter mentioned and for what worldly goods it hath pleased God to Bless me with I Dispose of as follows:

I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Susannah one negro girl Hannah and likewise one Mulato girl Nell and the horse Joeboy and Likewise to my wife Susannah Rawlings the third part of all my household goods and stock

Item I give and bequeath to my son Jonathan Rawlings one desk and half a dozen play cotton chair and one feather bed and furniture one Cow and calf.

Item I give and bequeath to my son Aaron Rawlings one feather bed and furniture --- It is my will and desire that the rest of my house goods and stock should be equally divided between my daughter Ann Jones and my sons as follows William Rawlings and Jonathan Rawlings and Stephen Rawlings.

I give and bequeath to my two sons William Rawlings and Stephen Rawlings two hundred acres of land called part of Darnalls Groves to be equally divided between them two lying in Prince Georges County.

Likewise it is my will and desire that any land lying in Baltimore County called Brown’s Adventure and Young’s Lot to be equally divided between my children sons and daughter.

Likewise it is my will and devise that the lands that William Hunt has in possession lying in Ann Arundel County if recoverable by my heirs then to be equally divided between my sons and my daughter I desire that my son Aaron should have the dwelling house and his part of the land joyning to it.

Lastly I appoint my sons Aron Rawlings and William Rawlings to be the Executors of this my Last Will and Testament and to be buried at the Discretion of my Wife and above named executors and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament as witness my hand and seal 25th of March Ano Dom 1741.

The three subscribing witnesses to the foregoing Will and make oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that they saw the Testator Aaron Rawlings sign

The foregoing instrument of writing and heard him --- Publish and Declare the same to be his Last Will and Testament that at the time of his so doing was to their apprehension of sound disposing mind and memory and that they subscribed their names as witnesses to the said will in the xxx of the said Testator and at his request Sworn before me MManemora
