A little about myself - I'm in marketing by trade, but I've owned my own side business as a professional photographer for over a decade. In my free time I'm also a published author who enjoys all kinds of artistic endeavors although I'm not very good at most of them.

Genealogy-relevant information:
Type 1 diabetes (an autoimmune disorder) diagnosed in July 2012 at age 22
Cholycystectomy (gallbladder removal) in August 2022 - no gallstones, but it was covered in scar tissue and deemed non-functional
Scoliosis - I have a curvature in my spine, determined to be 19 degrees in January 2019
ADHD unofficially diagnosed by my therapist in 2020
Allergic to penicillin, cat dander, and most grasses/weeds
Mother's side: My maternal grandmother and grandfather both passed from lung cancer (Dale was a lifelong smoker, Marilyn was not). Dale had two heart attacks and two cardiac arrests in his lifetime and spent 10 days in a coma in 1997. Marilyn's sister Adelia passed from breast cancer.
Father's side: My paternal grandfather passed from mesothelioma. He also had diabetes, although the type is debated. My paternal grandmother had dementia. My father's sister, Lee Ann, also passed from cancer.
