Switzer, Abe The community was shocked yesterday when it was announced that Abe Switzer had died at his home, three miles north of this city. He had been ill for several days, but his condition had not been considered alarming until a few hours before his death. He was a quiet, honest and industrious citizen, and his taking away in the prime of life is mourned by a large circle of friends. He leaves a wife and two children to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held this morning at 10:00 o'clock, conducted by Elder Geo. Lentz and the remains laid to rest in the Crescent Hill cemetery. -- The Adrian Journal, December 8, 1899, Page 8 column 2, Death
