Abigail Black

Abigail Johnson Black (1681 - c1720) - Abigail Johnson, accused of witchcraft at the age of 11 in the infamous Salem witch trials, was the daughter of Steven Johnson and Elizabeth Dane. Born 16 March 1681 at Andover, Essex County, Massachusetts; she died circa 24 November 1720 at Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts. She married James Black (1669 - before 1722), son of Daniel Black (born before 1628 Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland) and Faith Bridges (born 1645 Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts) in 1703 at Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts.
