Abigail was born about 1708 possibly in Walpole, New Hampshire.
She married Joshua Clapp in Boston, Massachusetts in 1728. [1] "Bulerd, Abigail and Joshua Clap, int[ention] Nov 1, 1728." [2]
The Clapp memorial. Record of the Clapp family in America [3] has an entry for Joshua Clapp in which it includes:
[Joshua] married first, Dec. 12, 1728, in Boston, Abigail Bullard of Walpole, who died Aug 12, 1782. The Clapp Memorial document calls the family "Joshua and Abigail (Bullard) Clapp, of Walpole". [3]
She is buried in Walpole, Massachusetts. The death date on this record disagrees with the date in the Clapp family source. [4]

JOSHUA4 (Joshua3, Thomas2, Thomas1), son of Joshua and Mary (Boyden) Clapp, of Walpole, was born in 1707, He was a distinguished man, of high character. He was a military Captain, Justice of the Peace, Representative to the General Court, and for many years a Deacon of the Church, in Walpole (formerly south part of Dedham).
He married, first, Dec. 12, 1728, in Boston, Abigail Bullard, of Walpole, who died Aug. 12, 1782.
Abigail Clap Hartshorn-Smith was the daughter of Lieut. Joshua and Abigail (Bullard) Clapp
