Abigail Okie

Abigail Brognard was a daughter of Jean Baptiste Caronne Brognard and his second wife Mary Herd. She died 30 May 1821 (Family Bible record.) (Abraham Okie's Bible published Philadelphia 1813 by M. Cary, No. 122 Market Street, is now (1965) in the possession of Mrs. Julia Okie Kates of Glen Mills Pa.

Her birth date, August 25, 1796 is taken from the birth records of the same Family Bible mentioned above: "Abigail Okie, daughter of John and Mary Brognard, born Augt 25,1796"

Also death date: "Abigail Okie, wife of Abraham Okie, died on Wednesday afternoon of the 30th day of May 1827. Aged 30 years 9 mos 5 days"
