Abigail was born in February 1665 in Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts and was the daughter of Hope (Lamberton) and Samuel Ambrose.

She was christened in December 1665 in Massachusetts. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Abigail Ambrose first married about 1688 to John Clark, III of New Haven County, Connecticut.

Abigail married secondly on 27 Jan 1702 in Middletown, Hartford County, Connecticut to John Williams of Wethersfield, Connecticut. [5]

She died on 16 Jan 1732 in Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut. [6]
