Capt. Abisha was associated with his brother Jonathan in iron foundries. For many years he had charge of a blast furnace and cotton factory in Kingston. He was also agent for the Anchor Works erected by Charles Josselyn, which he managed until his death. At the time of his death he was a partner in the House of Lazell, Perkins Co. of Bridgewater.
