About Abraham Granger, Sr.
Abraham lived at Suffield. Abraham was the youngest of Launcelot's children being hardly more than a babe in arms when the family removed to Suffield. he too was a farmer, and his first wife was the sister of the wife of his brother Samuel, but the record of the date of the marriage is lost. Indeed, much important data regarding Abraham is wanting, including the name of his second wfie. Hannah Hanchett died at the birth of her child. His farm lay in the northern part of the town, on the present road to Westfield (then but a path), and is still (in 1892) owned by one of his descendants, Mrs. Katherine Leonard, *daughter of the late Captain John Granger.
- Mrs. Leonard d. 15 Aug. 1892.
