Abraham Hanks, II

Abraham Hanks Jr was born in Prince William Co VA, he was the son of Abraham Hanks and Jemima Million, Abraham was married to Sarah Harper, daughter of George and Elizabeth Harper, after his father Abraham died in 1784, Abraham Jr moved to Halifax Co NC, Abraham and Sarah had three children, Fielding, George and Sarah.

Sarah Harper Hanks died in childbirth c.1790, after her death Abraham moved to Caswell Co NC where he married his second wife Mary Combs, they had one known child named Mary, Abraham left Caswell Co and moved to Russell Co VA and finally to Montgomery Co KY, in 1779 Abrahams brother inlaw John Harper moved to Montgomery Co Ky.

Abraham and Sarah Hanks son Fielding was married to his first cousin Lydia Harper, daughter of John Harper and Sarah Summers. Fielding and Lydia Hanks named a son Cuthbert Million Hanks, Cuthbert Million was the brother of Jemima Million Hanks who was Fieldings grandmother.
