H. Unruh, p. 259). He moved from the Chortitza Colony to Blumemort, Molotschna Colony between 1808 and 1813 as he had a son Cornelius born in Blumemort in 1813 (B. H. Unruh, p. 335). In the 1835 Molotschna census he is listed at Blumenort #25. One record says he was born in 1784. The 1835 Molotschna Census gives his age as 26 in 1816 and 45 in 1835, suggesting that he may have been born ca 1788. "dienst knecht" info from Onkel Jakob, summer 1978 his first name is uncertain.
