Granted Dec. 21, 1833; registered April 3, 1835.</p> <p> </p> <p>When Abraham Picklesimer was born on January 16, 1787, in Pendleton, South Carolina, his father, Henry, was 22 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 18. He married Eleanor Hooper and they had eight children together between 1811 and 1825. He then married MourningFox Barnes and they had four children together between 1830 and 1834. He died on July 5, 1861, in Jackson County, North Carolina, at the age of 74.</p>
