About Abraham Vibert
- From the WikiTree, "Abraham Vibert," posted at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Vibert-39:
- "Abraham Vibert was a tailor of Southampton, Hampshire England. In February 1640/1, he made his Will, in which he made bequests to his sons Richard, John the elder, Abraham, and John the younger; his daughters Averin, Audrea, Jone; and his now wife, Jane.
- "In 1631, he was called at tailor and a victualler. He had children:
- Averina, born about 1612, married George Lanphear October 27, 1639
- Richard, born about 1620
- Jane, born about 1622
- John (the elder), baptized at St. Michaels parish, Southampton on May 23, 1624
- Abraham, baptized at St. Michaels on August 16, 1630
- John (the younger) baptized at St. Michaels on April 7, 1633
- Audrea, born after 1619 and probably about 1634
- Joan, baptized as "Jone" at St. Michaels on January 14, 1635/6
- William, baptized at St. Michaels on March 20, 1638/9 and buried there May 4, 1640
- "Abraham was buried at St. Michaels on February 15, 1640/1. His will was probated on May 23, 1641. Given the identification in his Will of Jane as "my now wife" and the fact of two children were given the named John, there is the implication that Jane was not his first wife, however when he married Jane, the identity of his first wife/wives and which children belong to which wife is not known."
