Claim #1195 for Abraham Wartman decd late of Pensilv. John Wartman 2nd son of Abraham appears, says his father died last year. His eldest brother Peter is at Cataraqui lamed from an accident and could not come, but Witness is authorized to act for him and produces a Letter of attorney to enable him to do so.e to England by Captain Leake.erved 3 years. He was then discharged on account of his age and came to Canada and was employed in the Kings Works as an artificer - he afterwards settled in Cataraqui - died last year, leaving Catharine his widow and 3 brothers all at Cataraqui.ther came in at the same time, they were both too young to serve.
