Ada E. Miller

FREDERICKSBURG — Ada Hershberger, 80, 7828 Township Road 568, Fredericksburg, died peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at her home, after a lengthy illness.

She was born April 3, 1937, in Holmes County to the late Eli J. and Anna (Miller) Miller and married David E. Hershberger on Nov. 5, 1959. He survives.

She was a member of the Old Order Amish.

Surviving are her husband, David; her children, Robert (Katie) Hershberger of Fredericksburg, Ivan (Fannie) Hershberger of Holmesville, Sarah Ann Hershberger of the home, Esther (Allen) Wengerd of Millersburg, Delbert (Barbara Ann) Hershberger of Fredericksburg, Marie (Dennis) Schlabach of Holmesville, Dena Hershberger, Barbara Hershberger and Marvin (Martha) Hershberger, all of Fredericksburg, and Martha Hershberger of the home; 27 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Monroe Miller and Joe (Anna) Miller, both of Millersburg; and sisters, Clara (Enos) Raber and Sarah Barkman, both of Sugarcreek.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandchild; a brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Dena Miller; sisters, Mattie and Katie Miller; a sister-in-law, Mary Miller; and a brother-in-law, Jacob Barkman.

Services will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Hershberger residence, with Bishop Raymond Hochstetler officiating. Burial will be in Hershberger Cemetery, Prairie Township, Holmes County. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements
