DELTA -- Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Delta 1st LDS Ward Chapel for Adaline Buchanan Jeffery, 90 of Delta, who died Thursday, April 3, 1975 in a Delta hospital of causes incident to age. A son, Dr. Iliff J. Jeffery, lives in Provo.

She was born April 6, 1884 in East Loa, Wayne County, a daughter of John Lorenzo and Julia Ann Zufelt Buchanan. She married Irvin E. Jeffery on June 28, 1905 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died in June, 1945. Mrs. Jeffery moved to Delta in 1907 and had lived there since that time.

Surviving are five sons and two daughters, Orvil F. Jeffery, Irvin W. Jeffery and Eldro Jeffery, all of Delta; Dr. Iliff J. Jeffery, Provo; Jay M. Jeffery, Morgan; Pearl Jeffery, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Oliver (Zerma) Tripp, Orlando, Calif.; 32 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother and a sister, John Jeffery, Walnut Creek, Calif., and Nora Pearson, Gaskey, Calif.

Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Nickle Mortuary, and Monday 90 minutes prior to services. Burial will be in Delta Cemetery.
