23 July 1621: Instrument of Sasine in favour of Robert Bellenden of How, brother to Adam Bellenden of Stanehous, and Jean Smyth, his spouse. of the lands of Burgar, in parish of Evie, under reversion. On charter of alienation, dated 16 July 1621, by said Adam Bellenden, with consent of Adam Bellenden, his eldest son and heir. Recorded P.R.S. Orkney 25 July 1621. 18 June 1627: Instrument of sasine in favour of George Bellenden, brother of Adam Bellenden, younger, fiar of Stenhous, of the sixpenny lands called Flawis in Ewie. Sasine given propriis manibus by the said Adam Bellenden conform to dispostion granted by him and Anna Graham, his wife, with consent of Adam Bellenden, elder of Stenhous.
