  • 1799 (March 10) - Adam is selected as one of three arbitrators in a land and boundary dispute in Wayne County, North Carolina.
  • 1800 (February 28) - Adam sells 118 acres on the south side of the Neuse River and the west side of Carraway Creek to Joseph Everett of Wayne County, North Carolina.
  • ca 1800 - Wayne County, North Carolina: Adam marries Sarah 'Sally' Alford, daughter of William & Sarah Blackman Alford.
  • 1801 (April 15) - Adam and his wife Sally sell all of the land Sally inherited from her father to James Rhodes; Sally signed a separate release on 16 Nov 1801.
