Adam Colquhoun esq. b. 1711 was either a sheriff substitute or a local judge of the county of Dumbarton. And he was the keeper of the register of records. Adam married Isabel the daughter of Patrick Colquhoun esq. of Milton and Colquhoun. They had two daughters and three sons.
