Adam von Pfuel was a nobleman of Brandenburg who served as a general in the army of Swedish King Gustav II Adolf during the Thirty Years War. In 1641, he came by marriage to Helene von Kerssenbrock to the offices Helfta and Polleben. In 1659 he diedin Helfta and was buried in the Polleber Stephen Church.
