Aegida Somerville married Thomas Weir of Blackwood. According to Sir James Balfour Paul, Giles Sommerville took sasine of the five merk lands of Broughton in Peeblesshire, and Mossmenning in the barony of Lesmahagow, on 12 October 1483. The Scots Peerage, viii, p. 15
