About Aert Arthur Albertis
Aert owned 24 morgan of farmland in (the Wallabout?) (now Maspeth, LI near Calvary Cemetary. He sold all of the property to his brother-in-law, John Way, in 1683. He then bought land in Fosters Meadown, Island of Nassau. He had four sons, Aert, James, Jan and Joseph. All buried on his farm, now Elmont Cemetery.
