Daughter of Christina KLUMPP and Johannes PFEIFLE of Besenfeld Wurtzburg Schwarzwald she married Johann George ECKERT in Germany and immigrated to Pennsylvania about 1871. They had seven sons and one daughter. Only four sons lived to maturity: George, Paul (Harvard Grove Cemetery, Cleveland OH), Fritz (adjacent grave) and William.
