About Agi Rachel Klein
David tells about his sister: "She was born in 1930 with a heart defect. One of the valves stuck open and did not pump blood. It was the one working the lower circuit affecting physical ability. She did not have any strength in her limbs. She could hardly sit up. On the other hand she was a very sharp, inteligent little girl. She died of a heart attack at the age of 11, in 1941. She is buried in the Kerpesi temeto (cemetery) near Budapest. Her tombstone says one word "Agikank" (our Agi). Erosion made it hardly readable.
Vera Ramaty (Klein)'s father, Andor, told her that Agi used to love to get new shoes and was delighted to get them even though she could not walk."
