Agidea Somerville

AGIDEA SOMERVILLE

The existence of Agidea Somerville, said to be a daughter of one of the Lords Somerville, is known only from an account of the Herries family in theTerregles MS., where she is seported to have married John Herries of Terregles. However, David C. Herries, whose account of the family was published n the Scots Peerage, believed that this was wrong. He suggested that it may have been John's son David who married this lady.
