Funeral services for Agnes Derouen Buyince, 71, of 5113 Ave P will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

A rosary and wake will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Mrs. Buyince was born on July 1, 1909, in Abbeville, LA.

She was a resident of Galveston, TX; for the past 30 years and was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Lumis Buyince of Galveston, TX; three daughters, Selena Rittenhouse and Florence Bowers, both of Galveston, TX; and Tina B. Knowles of Houston, TX; four sons, Mervin Mash, Jr., and Larry Buyince, both of Galveston, TX; Roland Buyince of Upper Heyford, England; and Lumis Buyince, Jr., of La Marque, TX; one sister, Lydia Tanner of Galveston, TX; two brothers, Joseph Derouen of New York; and Arthur Derouen of New Iberia, LA; 22 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Services under the direction of Hebert Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Visitors may call at the funeral home from noon until 6 p.m. Monday.
