About Agnes E. Bruce
Mrs. Agnes E. Bruce died November 17th, 1960 at the age of 85 years, 2 months and one day.
On August 15th, 1938, her only daughter Grace, was in an automobile accident near North Hudson, New York. She was brought to the Elizabethtown Community Hospital and lived only a few hours. She was 28 years of age.
On August 14th, 1956, her husband John B. Bruce passed away suddenly at the age of 71 years and 24 days.
Miss Belle Joy stayed with Mrs. Bruce during that winter and during the following summer she lived alone. In November she went to Devlin's Convalescent Home where she stayed for three years until her death.
