Agnes Cousins 1869 Melbourne – 1929 Perth Agnes abandons her children, oldest being 8, and Husband John Ashton in Melbourne 1894. The following is a chronological list of her life events, sourced from Trove website and BDM documents. 1894

Dec- Agnes is on the ship SS Tekapo, from Melbourne to Fremantle Western Australia, where she is cautioned about  being drunk on board. 1895
Jan 18 -Fremantle police court, she is cautioned with having no lawful visible means of support, and vagrancy.
March 16- Agnes marries George Robert Haynes, but remains married to John Ashton.
Dec- Agnes is in Coolgardie, and her jealous husband fires a gun at her, ( no harm done )
when she goes riding with her employer. 1896
July-  City Police Court,  Agnes is drunk and disorderly in various parts of the city,  fined 5c/ or 3 days prison. 1897
May-  Agnes in court, charged with being loose , idle, and disorderly ,1 month prison Fremantle. June-  City Police Court, found in an intoxicated condition in James street, singing to large crowd of people, fined 5c/ or 3 days prison. August - 2 months  hard labor , Fremantle Prison,, disorderly conduct, breaking a cabs window  November- 6 months, Fremantle Prison for drunk,disorderly, foul language Her husband files for separation, stating he could not keep her off the streets, tried to provide a home, but to no avail. 1898
May-  Fremantle Police Court,  charged for drunk and disorderly, her husband states he is disgusted with her drunken habits,but is unable to control her, and she is in the habit of breaking domestic ties. June  -drunk

Nov - obscene language Dec - creating a disturbance in  William St, fined 10c/ or 7 days prison. 1908
Jan - City Police Court , charged with causing a disturbance in hotel, fined 20c/ or 3 days prison September- 6 months prison, Fremantle, for stealing from a person, she had agreed to be paid for having immoral behavior performed. 1909
April - City Police Court, disorderly conduct. 1911 Beaufort Police Court, Agnes charged with assault of another women, fined 10s  1 pound costs. 1914 
Agnes marries John Arthur Sands 1915
March 25 -  Agnes and John cause a disturbance in a pub, and charged with disorderly conduct, Brookton Police court.
1920
Agnes and John living at Konnongorring , 130 k NE of Perth 1926
Feb-  Carnarvon police court, 1 month prison for receiving stolen goods 1928   Agnes Sands pensioner (58) falls under a tram, but escapes with only bruises, Perth city. 1929
Agnes passes away in boarding room, Perth, buried at Karrakatta cemetery July 1 1929.
