About Agnes Goodfellow
Agnes Goodfellow married William Rannie unknown date or place. They left Scotland with her mother (Agnes Goodfellow) and brothers as part of the Selkirk settlement, Rupert's land now Manitoba. They left Selkirk with other families after hostilities erupted and followed the fur traders route into Ontario. Finally settling in West Gwillimbury. (See Auld Kirk Cemetery, Scottish Settlement, Bradford, Ontario for stone of her mother and one brother John Alexander Goodfellow.) Agnes and William eventually acquired land at Bond Head.
