Agnes Humphrey, dau. of Nathaniel Humphrey and Agnes Spencer, bapt. of record Feb. 17, 1711/2 at the Hartford 2nd Church. She d. at Hartford of small pox Dec. 20, 1793 per the Hartford 1st Church records, but Dec. 29, 1793 per sexton records of Hartford's Ancient Cemetery (aka Center Cemetery) where she was interred.

By early 1733, Agnes m. 1) her 1st cousin once removed, Lieut. Cyprian Nichols, 3rd, s. of Capt. Cyprian Nichols, Jr. by his 1st wife Helena Talcott, bapt. of record May 17, 1702 at the Hartford 2nd Ch. He d. intestate Aug. 28, 1745 and was bur. Aug. 30, 1745 at Hartford's Ancient Cemetery. They had two known children who are outlined in their father's memorial.

By 1747, the widow Agnes (Humphrey) Nichols m. 2) Capt. Isaac Seymour, s. of John Seymour, Jr. by his 1st wife Lydia Mason, b. Oct. 10 (bapt. Oct. 13 at 2nd Ch.), 1723. He d. intestate Jan. 14, 1755 and was bur. at Hartford's Ancient Cemetery. There were two children of the family at Hartford, not three as claimed by Barbour in "Families of Early Hartford," and are summarized in their father's memorial.
