Isaack, seventh child of Jan and Neeltje (Verwey) Stagg, was baptized Nov. 2, 1712. He married Agnietien Romein. He was born and lived at New Barbadoes Neck.

Isaac Stagg, son of Jan Stagg & Neeltje Verwey, m. 14 Sep 1738 Hackensack Ref Ch (banns: 5 Aug 1738 Hackensack Ref Ch, Agnietje Romeyn (Angenitje), dau. of Jan Klaes Romeyn & Lammetje Bogert. Isaac Stagg was bp. 2 Nov 1712 Hackensack Ref Ch Agnietje Romeyn was bp. 9 Nov 1718 Hackensack Ref Ch In the m. record they are "Isaak Stagge, y.m., b. and l. Barbaris Neck, and Agnietjen Romein, y.d., b. and l. Hackinsack." They lived at New Barbadoes Neck.
Isaac Stagg is mentioned in a Bergen County Road Return dated 3 June 1743, recorded at the request of Richard Truman to alter (nullify) a road formerly laid out over the lands of Jacobus Blinkerhof, Isaac Stegg, Joris Blinkerhof, Abraham Stegg, Jacob Stegg, and Allebert Westervelt and lay out a new road. Landmarks mentioned in the Return include: beginning at a Road that comes from the Taenne Vley and runs to Clooster, lands of Jacobus Blinkerhof,land of Isaac Stagg, Joris Blinkerhof, land of Abraham & Jacob Stegg, line of Albert Westervelt, house of Richard Trueman, land of Barent Cool.1
Another Bergen County Road Return, dated November 1743, was recorded at the request of Isaac Stegg, confirming a four-rod road which may be the replacement for the road nullified on 3 June 1743. The description of the route of this road refers to many of the same lands, with a few deletions and additions: beginning at a bridge by Hendrick Banta, John Cammiga's Barn, William Winters, orchard of Jacobus Blinkerhof, Abraham and Jacob Stegg's land, Albert Westervelt, house of Richard Trueman, land of Barent Cool.1
