Aida Phillips

Aida Phillips was Born on 31st January 1926 was the daughter of Thomas and Rosaline Puvimannasinghe she is the wife of Lucian Phillips (Retired General Manager, Ceylon Electricity Board) and electrical consultant of the then Prime Minister Ranasinghe Premadasa , she is the mother of Shiranthi Saverimutto (Solicitor Australia), Jeyakumar Phillips (Chartered Accountant) and Suresh Phillips (Solicitor) , mother-in-law of Dr Cecil Saverimutto, Marianne Phillips(Chartered Accountant) and Marina Phillips (Attorney-at-Law and Senior Manager Agro Harappan Lastary Indonesia), grandmother of Ajanth Saverimutto (Mining Engineer Australia), Iandra Saverimutto(Civill Engineer Australia), Dr Ashanth Phillips (Australia), Nirusha Phillips (bio engineer Australia), Nishanth Phillips and Shehani Phillips, great-grandmother of Xavier Dane Saverimutto, sister of St. Joe (Attorney-at-Law) and Innocent Puvimannasinghe (Bank Manager), sister-in-law of Rex Phillips (Solicitor) and the Vivian Phillips,

Aida was loved by alll her relatives friends, and was much sought after personality. She has been a wonderful wife to her husband who achieved great heights at the Ceylon Electricity Board ending as the General Manager and has been a great Mother to her three children. She was a loving grand mother to her six grand children.
