Biography Alain de Dinan is the younger son of Geoffroy I st Dinan and his wife sometimes called Radegonde Ozioy Orieldis. The birthright not being legalized in the Duchy of Brittany, in 1122 his father shared his domains and gave him the southern part of the city of Dinan cut in two along the Pont / Jerzual / Porte de l'Hôtellerie axis to which he added Lehon and Becherel and great estates in England. The score became effective in 1123 after the death of Geoffrey I first removed as professed in Marmoutier Abbey
