ALAN HAMILTON OF LARBERT

Alan Hamilton of Larbert is the son of Sir David Hamilton of Cadzow and his wife Margaret Ross. Hamilton Memoirs, pp. 42-3 He is the brother of Walter Hamilton of Cambuskeith, and the uncle of David Hamilton of Cambuskeith. He appears still to have been alive on 29 January 1411, the date upon which his charter in favour of his nephew, David Hamilton of Cambuskeith, for the lands of Blairmead, was confirmed by his feudal superior.
