About Alan de Charlton, II

British Archeaology show, "Time Team" season 5, episode 6, Aston Eyre, Shropshire (can be found on You-Tube), deals with the manor house built by Allen of Charleton and his wife, Margery - who was the daughter of Hugh FitzAer - on lands she'd inherited. After Alan de Charleton's death from the Black Plague, his eldest son, John, was only 15 (according to Time Team - 9 or 10 according to geni) and the lands were looked after by his grandfather. Which grandfather is uncertain.
