Albert Joseph Berube, Jr.

Albert Joseph Berube, passed away November 22, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Ruth (Avolt) Berube for 49 years.

Born June 4, 1942 in Plainville; he was the son of the late Joseph and Ester (Gosselin) Berube. Al was a brilliant Engineer and Draftsman working for Chandler Evans and various other companies. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and could always be found if not in his yard then he was paddling his canoe in the waters of Otis Reservoir.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his beloved son, Scott A. Berube and wife Judy.

Friends may call on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted from 10 AM - 12 PM with a memorial service at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Hospital of Central Connecticut, 100 Grand Street, New Britain, CT; attention to the Peritoneal Dialysis Department.
