DISGRACE DRIVES TWO ILLINOISANS TO DEATH By ASSOCIATED PRESS. St. Louis, Mo., March 17.- Dr. A. B. McKee was found dead and his twin brother and comrade, Charles McKee, dying in the stable of Dr. McKee. at Edwardsville, Ill., under indications of a double suicide to escape the disgrace which threatened the physician, and which the brother dreaded as much as if it were his own. The trouble grew out of the arrest of McKee a few days ago. When the bodies were discovered Dr. McKee had been dead several hours and Charles McKee was breathing faintly, but died is minutes later. Death came from the injection of morphine. Dr. McKee, who was 40 years of age, had an excellent practice. He leaves a wife and one child

Double Suicide – Brother Take own Lives, One to Escape Disgrace - Edwardsville, Ills., March 18, - Dr. Edward B. McKee a prominent physician and his brother Charles, committed suicide together Monday night in a stable at Dr. McKee’s residence here, the bodies being found side by side this morning
.Morphine was the cause of death and some of the poison was found beside the bodies.
Mr. McKee was under bond to appear in court next Saturday on a charge of assault preferred ay a servant girl.The charge is believed to have prompted Dr. McKee's act, but the death of Charles McKee Is a mystery, unless the explanation be that he decided to die rather than be parted from tho doctor. Both brothers were devoted to one another
