STRELECKY. Albert A. Strelecky, 70, of Lawton Drive, Simsbury, husband of Patricia (Howard) Strelecky, died Saturday, March 25, 1995 at Hartford Hospital. He was born January 2, 1925 in Bridgeport, son of the late Andrew and Mary (Tutor) Strelecky and had lived in Cincinnati and Cleveland, Ohio, and Washington, D.C., prior to moving to Simsbury 23 years ago. He was a graduate of the University of Connecticut, and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army, during the Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Strelecky was employed as a Surety Bond Underwriter for 31 years at ITT Hartford, prior to his retirement in 1987. He was a former Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, Bridgeport Council. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son a nd daughter-in-law, Matthew and Lisa Strelecky of Manchester; six nieces and nephews; and 11 great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, John P. Strelecky; and a sister, Margaret Sandor. Funeral will be Wednesday, 9:15 am, from the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary's Church, Simsbury. Burial will be in Simsbury Cemetery. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home in Simsbury Tuesday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Simsbury Volunteer Ambulance Assoc., P.O. Box 301, Simsbury 06070 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
