Mr Albert Victor Pearcey, 32, was born in Hampshire.

When he signed-on to the Titanic, on 4 April 1912, he gave his address as 23 Kent Road, (Southampton). He was transferred from the Oceanic. As a Pantry Steward he received monthly wages of £4.

Pearcey led groups of third class passengers up to the boat deck assisted by William Denton Cox and John Edward Hart.

Pearcey was rescued in Collapsible C. He later testified at the British Inquiry into the sinking.

Albert Victor Pearcey died in the 3rd quarter of 1952 at age 65 in Southampton
