Figlio di un Michele che, secondo gli eruditi veneziani dei secoli XVI-XVIII, fu podestà di Faenza nel 1240 e, sempre secondo fonti erudite, di Agnese Corner del fu Andrea, appartenne al ramo poi denominato «dalla Sbarra». La data di nascita è ignota, ma la sua prima attestazione del 1261 come membro del Maggior Consiglio la fa collocare fra gli anni Trenta e l’inizio degli anni Quaranta del XIII secolo. .. ...

m ---. The name of Michele´s wife is not known. Michele & his wife had four children:

• a) CONSTANZA Morosini . ...m ([24 Aug 1293]) as his first wife, VLADISLAV of Serbia, son of STEFAN DRAGUTIN King of Serbia & his wife Katalin of Hungary (-in Hungary after 1326).
• b) TOMASINA Morosini (-end 1300). ... m ([1265/70]) as his second wife, ISTVÁN of Hungary Duke of Slavonia, son of ANDRÁS II King of Hungary & his third wife Beatrice d'Este (posthumously 1236-1271 shortly after 10 Apr).
• c) ALBERTO Morosini (-after 1290). The marriage contract between "Dominum Albertum comitem Goricie…filiam suam dominam Claram" and "domino Andrea…duce Sclavonie nepote olim…domini Andree regis Hungarie" is dated 6 Jun 1286, and names "dominum Albertinum Mauroceno de Venecia…avunculus eiusdem domini ducis"[236]. The continuator of Andrea Dandulo´s Chronicon Venetum records that "juvenis Andreaxius de regno Hungarico" appointed "Albertinum Mauroceno avunculum eius" as "Banum et Ducem Sclavoniæ" after his coronation in 1290[237].

Alberto Morosini (zm. po 1302) - wenecki patrycjusz.

Potomek znaczącej patrycjuszowskiej rodziny, syn Michała. Jego siostra Tomasina była żoną Stefana Pogrobowca. Alberto odgrywał sporą rolę w życiu politycznym ówczesnej Wenecji, przykładowo w 1281 był podestą Treviso. W 1284 mieszkańcy Pizy, prowadzącej w tym czasie wojnę z Genuą, wybrali go swoim podestą. Alberto Morosini stanął na czele wojsk pizańskich w bitwie pod Melorią 6 sierpnia 1284. Pizańczycy zostali pokonani, a ich dowódca ranny i wzięty do niewoli.
