A lifelong resident of Tucker County, he was a son of the late William F. and Mary J. (Godwin) Harsh.

Mr. Harsh was a retired employee of (he Western Maryland Railway Company.

Survivors include his widow Clara (McDonald) Harsh; a son, Morris Harsh, Hall; four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Dumire, St. George; Mrs. Madge Long, Keyser; Mrs. Eva Jones, Baltimore; 15 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
