Find A Grave contributor Christopher Brooks adds: Sorry, but the births of all the children of George Jesseman, the Scottish immigrant (63034899), are recorded at Uxbridge, Worcester, MA. So is George's marriage to Jemima Wood, and so is Jemima's birth there to Solomon/Faithful Wood. All these events are in the published Uxbridge vital records. Since Jemima was born at Uxbridge in 1740, it is highly unlikely that she married in Scotland before returning to New England to have her children. Clearly George emigrated, spent enough time at Uxbridge to meet and court Jemima, married and had children, then headed north with his family.
