Corunna (June 16 1809) when he was stationed in Belfast & Newry, and Waterloo (Aug 15 1815) since his record shows he was “Discharged 29th Oct 1814 “having “Completed his period of service” But he was with Wellesley when the general invaded France in Oct 1813. Was at the siege of Bayonne, to Toulouse, until the war ended April 12 1814, and he was returned to Ireland, where he remained until his discharge. He then returned to his home in Scotland. At least we know he was living in Blantyre when his son Thomas, his fourth child, and the first to survive infancy was born
