Cemetery-Record-----Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredonia, NY. Alexander McAllister, born 21-February-1867, died 14-June-1934. Should be an obit in the Dunkirk Observer.
Evidently, Alexander also had a son named William, who in 1912, age 10, drowned in Canadaway Creek, not far from their home along Matteson Street, a Tuesday evening about 6 pm. With a couple other boys, Will & Wallace Harper, he jumped into the creek, entering a deep hole, from which he never emerged. His father found later, about 9 pm, in about 7 feet of water (Post-Journal newspaper, July 5, 2012, p. C8).
