About Alexander Sandor Nathanel Wolf
studied at the University of Vienna. He was the most prominent businessman in Eisenstadt, but spent part of the winter in Vienna, and part travelling in the world, adding to his collection of artefacts, both Jewish and non Jewish. He wrote about history of art and archaeology "Eisenstädler Forschungen".

He was responsible for the management of the estates in Eisenstadt and the production of the wine with his elder brother Leopold. He also was the director of the Burgenlaendisches Museum.
He was the founder of the Wolf Museum in Eisenstadt, Austria. The Nazis put him in prison in Vienna, and his collection was taken over by them. He organized his own leave
from time to time, to attend to business matters in Budapest and elsewhere.
