About Alexander Turnbull
Alexander was a Master Miller, employing five men and a boy at Provan Mills corn mill, Garngad Rd,Glasgow, around 1850. In 1861 his daughter Willamina married Alex (Sandy) Clark and emmigrated to Dunedin NZ. After the death of his wife in 1870 Alexander travelled to Otago to be with his youngest daughter. He died at Portobello and is buried with the Clarks there.
