ALEXANDER FROST WILLARD He died on 6 Sep 1942 at a railroad crossing, 4 miles east of Williams, Coconino county, Arizona, at age 48 of a crushing injury to his chest wall in the accident

The day he died, Alexander Frost Willard and his son Blake were riding in the back of a pickup driven by Bill Gray. The road curved as it approached the railroad crossing and that day the train didn't whistle and collided with the truck. Bill and Blake were not badly hurt, but Alex died before they could get him to the hospital.370 Funeral director Stella P.
