About Alfred Heller
Alfred Heller was born in Muenchen in 1889. He held a PhD in economics but for his living he managed a printing house in Muenchen that he owned.
Alfred Heller was on board the ship “Atlantic” in 1945 and was deported with the rest of its passengers to Mauritius.
While he was in Mauritius he manufactured paper from Sugar cane. In Eretz Israel he opened a “A handmade paper workshop” in Givat Shaul, a neighborhood in Jerusalem.
Alfred Heller passed away in 1956.
